Oh, Christmas Tree...

Well, here it is...and the story behind it! We've actually had our tree for a week and a half now, but I've been busy and haven't had much time for blogging. The story goes something like this...

Two Sunday's ago, we went to get a Christmas tree. 3 tree lots later, we found our perfect tree. We brought it home, and I had HIGH hopes for a pleasant, fun-filled, drama-free, hot chocolate sipping, chocolate chip cookie eating, Christmas music listening, tree decorating evening. You can guess where this is going, right? Right. So a few minutes into our attempt at tree decorating, Luke dropped a glass ball ornament (which shattered), the cookies burnt, everyone was whining and yep, you guessed it...that was the end of our tree decorating fun. Not exactly what I had envisioned the entire week before we actually got our tree. On the bright side though, we are so very fortunate to be able to have such a beautiful tree, and an even more lovely home to house our tree in. We all pitched in and put ornaments on our tree over a few days span and before we knew it, it was fully decorated and is definitely something we are all proud of. Especially after all the hard work that went into decorating it! ;)
