4th of July FUN!

Although it was short lived, I took Kenz and Luke to the Bridgeport carnival earlier (Bry had to work today--WE miss you hunny!). We met Vincent, Jen and Ella there around 11 and it was SO hot, we were sitting inside of CPK by noon! With the girls and Luke being so young and Jen being pregnant, we thought it was smart to get out of the heat sooner than later. The girls got to ride the ponies and look at the animals in the petting zoo (the llama/poodle, baby sheep and ducks). They didn't seem to mind the heat but both of them were completely red in the face and sweating! We enjoyed a nice lunch at CPK and then let the girls cool off by playing in one of the many water sculptures in the marketplace. Kenz was such a good girl and claims she had fun. :) We would have stayed longer but it was pushing 100 degrees...much different from our Santa Barbara trip yesterday where it was only 70 degrees!
