letting go...

I'm learning...learning to say yes instead of no. Learning to let go of my desire to be in control. Learning to let them just be. Learning that a mess is simply that...a mess. I don't really enjoy cleaning up wet, mushy sidewalk chalk that's caked onto the concrete on the back patio. But my kids LOVE expressing themselves with that same chalk. Allowing them to play with the chalk and create masterpieces all their own is like allowing them the freedom to do whatever they want. In their eyes anyway...

So I've learned...to let go. And this is what happens...

I think I'm learning to like sidewalk chalk just a little. :)
