Cool weather, hot coffee, colored leaves, pumpkin bread, and of course...Lombardi Ranch. This evening (on our way home from a friends house) we made a last minute decision to head over to Lombardi Ranch. Mackenzie had fallen asleep in the car, so I thought it would be fun to surprise her by taking her to the "pumpkin patch" she's been talking about the last couple of weeks. She was pleasantly surprised when she opened her eyes and saw pumpkins, horsies, donkeys and trucks! We only spent an hour there because they closed at 6 and it was a bit chilly out. We had a really nice time and look forward to taking many trips there in the next few weeks. Mackenzie of course enjoyed looking at and picking up the pumpkins, seeing all of the animals, and driving the fire truck (Daddy's truck as she calls it). Unfortunately we were too late for the pony rides, but Kenz agreed it would be okay to go back another day to ride them. Luke seemed to enjoy himself as well, looking around at everything and taking it all in. He was fascinated by the pumpkins and of course was squealing and kicking with delight watching his big sister run around (he wants to walk already). Enjoy these few pictures we got today and stay tuned for several other postings about Lombardi Ranch this month! Happy Fall!
